I am interested in anatomy, and it’s intersection with art. I am a physiology major and have always been very interested in the human body, so naturally this became a place to pull inspiration from for art. I typically enjoy making realism art, however I like using bright, vibrant colors that really draws the eye in.

I take inspiration from artists like Gustav Klimt, who

uses bright colors and patterns in his abstract paintings, and Leonardo Davinci, who was one of the first artists to start drawing realistic anatomical drawings.

My love of vibrant colors draws me to psychedelic, trippy and retro style art, and I would love to create digital art that embodies these qualities.

I took four years of art in high school, where I became familiar with many mediums, such as acrylic paint, oil paint, oil pastel, nupastel, pen and ink, ceramics, and more. However, my art practice these days is mainly for fun in my free time. The medium I typically use the

most is oil pastel, mainly for its simplicity and portability, as I like to sometimes venture outdoors for inspiration. Oil Pastels are satisfying to use because the colors are so vibrant and I love to blend them on paper. There is less pressure to make a drawing perfect, and to get all the details right, as small details are difficult to capture with oil pastels anyway. It takes the stress out of making art for me, and allows me the freedom to just have fun with it. It reminds me of the whimsicality of coloring with crayons as a child.
